Software Developer Intern

AlightWay Solutions is looking for motivated Software Developer Interns for a 3-month unpaid internship program. You will work alongside our development team on real, live software projects — writing production-level code, not just tutorials or sample exercises.

This internship is designed to give you practical software development experience, including working with version control, code reviews, and agile workflows used in real teams.

• Write, test, and debug code for ongoing client and internal software projects
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior developers
• Work with the team using Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development
• Assist in identifying and fixing bugs in existing applications
• Contribute to documentation of code and development processes
• Participate in daily/weekly stand-ups and sprint planning sessions

On successful completion, interns receive a Certificate of Completion and a portfolio of real project contributions.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
• Solid understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++)
• Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control
• Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own laptop with a working development environment
• Available to commit to the internship for 3 months
