Video Editor Intern

AlightWay Solutions is hiring a Video Editor Intern for a 3-month unpaid internship. You will work directly on live client video content — reels, promotional videos, and social media edits — giving you real-world editing experience rather than practice assignments.

You'll work closely with our content and marketing team to turn raw footage into polished, publish-ready videos across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and client websites.

• Edit raw footage into short-form and long-form videos for live client projects
• Add transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, and background music/sound design
• Color correct and color grade footage for consistent visual quality
• Optimize video formats and aspect ratios for different platforms (Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Collaborate with content writers and designers to align video output with campaign goals
• Organize and manage project files and version history

Upon successful completion of the internship, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and finished project work for your editing reel.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film, Media, Mass Communication, or related field (or equivalent self-taught experience)
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
• Basic understanding of pacing, storytelling, and social-media-first editing styles
• A demo reel or sample edited videos to showcase current skill level
• Familiarity with motion graphics (After Effects) is a plus, not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Own laptop/PC capable of running editing software smoothly
• Available to commit to the internship for 3 months
